Refunds and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing Lifeguard NYC Training. This Refunds and Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling may be requested for our lifeguard training courses, certifications, and related services.

1. General Policy

All course registrations, certifications, and training fees are considered final once payment has been made. By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund and Returns Policy.

2. Cancellations by the Participant

If you wish to cancel your enrollment, you must notify us in writing via email at least 7 days prior to the scheduled course start date to be eligible for a refund or credit. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date are non‑refundable, except under exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

3. Rescheduling Requests

Participants may request to reschedule their training to a later date, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 3 days before the original course start date. Requests made within 3 days of the course start date may incur a rescheduling fee or be denied.

4. No‑Show Policy

If you fail to attend the class or training session without prior notice, no refunds or credits will be issued. You may be required to pay a re‑enrollment fee to join another session.

5. Cancellations or Changes by Lifeguard NYC Training

We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any training session due to unforeseen circumstances such as instructor unavailability, low enrollment, or facility issues. In such cases, you will be offered the option to reschedule to a new date or receive a full refund of fees paid.

6. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days after approval. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Non‑Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:
– Course materials, manuals, or digital content once accessed or downloaded.
– Certification fees paid to third‑party accrediting bodies.
– Administrative or processing fees associated with enrollment.

8. Transfers and Substitutions

Participants may transfer their enrollment to another person at least 48 hours before the scheduled course start date, provided that the substitute meets all course prerequisites and provides required documentation.

9. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds or credits may be granted at our sole discretion in cases of medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other extraordinary events supported by valid documentation.
