Course Purpose
The American Red Cross CPR/AED course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies. This course prepares individuals to give immediate care until advanced medical personnel take over.

Program Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize signs of cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and choking.
  • Demonstrate the steps of the Cardiac Chain of Survival.
  • Perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants.
  • Safely and effectively use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Provide care for choking emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and readiness when responding to emergencies.

Age Requirement
Participants must be 15 years or older.

What to Bring

  • Pocket face mask (provided free for CPR/AED courses).
  • Bottled water and snacks.
  • Comfortable clothing for classroom activities.
  • Pen and paper for notes.
  • Optional lunch/meal (nearby food options available).

Refund Policy

  • If a participant fails the written test or hands-on skills check, no refund will be issued.
